“If to draw an analogy with the medical field, the situation in the economy looks something like this (and believe me well-informed person, I don’t exaggerate): we, being already on the verge of the other world, was in intensive care and survived. Spent some time in intensive care and got to his feet. We were discharged and we went. And we don’t just get better, and, full of strength and energy, we will live happily ever after,” – said Poroshenko.

At the same time, he noted that the Ukrainians do not feel yet the growth of the economy, but unpopular measures of the government helped to avoid more serious consequences.

The President also said that, according to forecasts of the Ministry of Finance, the blockade of the occupied territories of Donbass will lead to a slowdown in GDP growth.
