The head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn, accompanied by a Ukrainian colleague Pavel Klimkin March 13, will visit Mariupol (Donetsk region) on a working visit.
“The purpose of the visit is familiarization with Mariupol, a visit to the line of contact and discuss further cooperation with the Chairman of the Donetsk regional state administration Pavlo Zhebrivskyi and the mayor of Mariupol Vadim Boychenko”, – stated in the message on the website of Mariupol city Council.
As the press service of the foreign Ministry of Ukraine, Asselborn will be in Ukraine on a working visit on March 13-14.
“The purpose of the visit is deepening of Ukrainian-Luxembourgish political dialogue. In addition, an important consideration in the course of the visit, Asselborn will be paid to the analysis of the situation in Donbass in the context of maintaining the EU’s position on sanctions against Russia, as well as cooperation Ukraine-EU taking into account the state of implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU and the functioning of free trade Zone”, – stated in the message on the Agency’s website.
