Meeting Donald trump and Peter Poroshenko to be held before the scheduled July meeting of Putin with the President of the United States. Actively working on it diplomats, said the Deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Konstantin Eliseev in an interview with Hromadske.
“Now, our diplomacy is actively working to ensure that this meeting (Poroshenko and trump – ed.) took place as quickly as possible. But it is crucial that it really took place to a future meeting of the President of trump with the President of Russia”, – he said.
The Deputy head of the presidential Administration noted that the preparation of the meeting Poroshenko and trump was one of the goals of the recent visit of foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin to Washington, where he held meetings, in particular, with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson and newly appointed adviser to trump national security Affairs Raymond McMaster.
“We regard this visit in the context of the forthcoming visit of the President of Ukraine in Washington, and now after the visit, Klimkin is the analysis that can be laid as the results of future meetings of the presidents, and, of course, depending on the content of the meetings will be determined by a specific date,” concluded Elisha.
