Ukraine needs to compensate for the losses due to the annexation of Crimea – danyluk

Ukraine intends to obtain damages from the Russian occupation of Crimea. About it to journalists was declared by Finance Minister Alexander danyluk, reports 112.ua.

“The government is now actively working on this. Any damages should be compensated, it is our duty. We will use all the necessary tools, again going back to the financial investigation Service. One of the objectives of this Service will be effective investigation of crimes in the banking sphere”, – said danyluk.

Earlier, the Russian politician Irina Khakamada said that Russia should pay Ukraine compensation for the annexation of the Crimea. However, she did not mention the specific size of the indemnity (compensation), just noting that Russia could write off all the debts Ukraine and “add more (payments)”.

Crimea was illegally annexed by Russia in March 2014 after the “referendum” is not recognized neither Ukraine nor the world community. Including the “Crimean referendum” does not recognize and the United Nations.
