The Prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case on the Minister of energy Natalika

The Prosecutor’s office of Kiev opened criminal proceedings against the Minister of energy Igor Nasalik. This was reported in the Facebook MP Victoria Voitsitska.

According to her, the Kiev Prosecutor’s office she was told in the official answer about opening of criminal proceedings against the Minister of energy on the fact of a possible criminal offense under part 1 St. 351 criminal code (obstructing the activities of MP).

“On December 13, 2016, along with the people’s Deputy Mustafa Nayem we filed a statement of offence in connection with failure to provide, incomplete and untimely responses to the Deputy address concerning provision of documentation on the results of the Hughes competition,” wrote Voitsitska.

According to her, the Prosecutor’s office had already refused her in the opening of criminal proceedings, citing lack of grounds. However, 26 February the Pechersky court of Kiev upheld the complaint and ordered the Prosecutor to open criminal proceedings.
