10 thousand steps a day will not help to lose weight – scientist

Professor of computer science Greg Hager from Johns Hopkins University said at the annual meeting of the American Association for the advancement of science that people who make 10 thousand steps a day, can harm your own health.

In many countries, the now popular idea that to lose weight you need every day to do about 10 thousand steps.

This method originated back in the 1960’s. Just then, Japanese experts conducted a study and found that to burn three thousand calories a person has to take 10 thousand steps every day.

But later there have been no proper studies have proven that walking in such numbers useful, and not harmful to health.

Previously, scientists have proven that get rid of cellulite only helps massage, slimming and anti-cellulite creams have only a temporary visual effect
