Powerful Canada’s support of Ukraine and Ukrainians remains unchanged. This was discussed during talks between the foreign Ministers of Canada and Ukraine by Christ Freeland and Pavel Klimkin, reports “UKRINFORM”.
“The Minister has assured the interlocutor that Canada is unequivocal in its support for the Ukrainian people and the sovereignty of Ukraine”, – said the representative of the canadian foreign Minister Jean Austin.
During negotiations Freeland also said that Canada condemns Russia’s illegal actions in Ukraine. “We strongly condemn the invasion and illegal annexation of Crimea and the conflict in the East of Ukraine”, – said the speaker.
Recall that Chrystia Freeland has held a meeting with the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of foreign Affairs during the Munich security conference, which ended on Sunday.
