The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine said that Russia’s recognition of the documents of residents of the so-called “DNR” and “LNR” contrary to the Minsk agreements, said the us diplomats in Twitter.
“The recognition by Russia of documents of the separatist “republics” disturbing and contrary to the agreed objectives of Minsk,” – said in the message.
The U.S. Embassy also expressed concern over the intensification of hostilities and the restoration of the use of “Grad” on the line of contact and called for the withdrawal of heavy weapons to support sustainable ceasefire in the Donbas.
As you know, on 18 February, the Kremlin published the decree signed by the President of the Russian Federation on the recognition on the territory of the Russian Federation documents issued to citizens of Ukraine and persons without citizenship who permanently reside in the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions occupied by Pro-Russian militants.
