The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was appointed head of the counterintelligence Department of the security Service of Ukraine Alexey Petrov, and was replaced by chiefs of managements of SBU in the Kherson, Nikolaev, Sumy, Ternopil and Zaporizhzhya regions.
The corresponding decree of the President of Ukraine No. 35/2017 from 14 February 2017 on the appointment to the posts of heads of agencies and departments of the security Service of Ukraine published on the official website of the President.
According to the decree, the head of Department of SBU in the Kherson region is assigned to Daniel Dotsenko, head of Department of SBU in the Sumy region – Vladislav Kosinski, head of Department of SBU in the Nikolaev area Alexey Lyakh, head of the security service of Ukraine in Ternopil region – Vitaly Naida (Naida according to the decree No. 34/2017 dismissed the head of the counterintelligence Department of the SBU), head of Department of SBU in the Zaporozhye region Alexander Khilko.
In addition, the President also appointed Alexander Klimchuk, head of the Department of counterintelligence protection of state interests in the field of information security SBU and Victor Kononenko – head of Department of protection of national statehood of the security service (is dismissed from the post of Anatoly Duplica, according to the decree No. 34/2017).
Also decree No. 34/2017 the President of Ukraine dismissed from the post of head of Department of SBU in the Kherson region Oleg Zubkov, Department of SBU in the Sumy region – Yury Goncharov, Department of SBU in the Nikolaev area Alexander Kalinin, Department of the security service of Ukraine in Ternopil region – Alexei Usanova, Department of the SBU in the Zaporozhye region Alexander Shmit’ko.
