Hackers ORDO attacked the state register of real estate of Ukraine – Ministry of justice

Problems and disruptions in the State register of rights to immovable property were related to ddos attacks from outside government-controlled areas in the East of the country, said the Minister of justice of Ukraine Pavel Petrenko.

“According to our IT-staff were really the problem in November. Was a ddos attack from some of the territories who are fighting us. Registers have survived, but there was stress and problems with access,” said Petrenko at the press briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.

According to him, the last facts of failures in work of the state register of property rights to real estate were recorded in the middle and at the end of January 2017.

As the Minister said, intelligence agencies have taken the necessary measures to ensure extra protection and power for the state register. Now they are stable.

“In the last week of registries operate very well. At least on the basis of electronic monitoring that we see. We keep under control the situation and do our best to have registrars were normal the opportunity to work with registries. But we are at war, so you also need to understand that the enemy uses any opportunity to create discomfort,” said Petrenko.
