The announcement of the next wave of mobilization of Ukrainians to the front may be held in the case, if Russia will go to an open aggression against Ukraine. This was stated at a briefing the Minister of defence Stepan Poltorak, transfer “Ukrainian news”.
The Minister noted that the version of the new call of Ukrainians to war is not excluded.
“If there is an open aggression against Ukraine, we will be forced to conduct such a mobilization,” – said Poltorak.
He also noted that not only in the case of full-scale war will be declared mobilization, but in the event of a serious deterioration of the situation in the Donbass.
Poltorak stressed that at the moment the situation in Ukraine allows to carry out the next mobilization.He added that the defense Ministry expects a further conclusion of military contracts.
Earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine in 2016, managed to stop another wave of mobilization and can contain Russia.
We will remind, as announced on 7 January, the head of the General staff Viktor Muzhenko, Ukraine announced the decision to call reserve officerswho graduated from military departments of universities, however, did not serve in the army to solve the problem with the recruiting officers.
