Poroshenko said that the Crimea be returned to Ukraine

President Petro Poroshenko expressed confidence that the temporarily occupied Crimea will return to Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with Reuters, reports “New time”.

He reminded the Europeans that the Crimea is Ukrainian territory, and its annexation is a violation of international law.

“I have no doubt. There is no doubt, because it is Ukrainian territory, there live the Ukrainian people and is a gross violation of international law. Some people think that we don’t want to use military force that we use only diplomatic way, the Minsk agreement”, – said Poroshenko.

According to Poroshenko, Ukraine uses the mechanism of international courts and international justice.

Recall, 16 January the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine filed a suit regarding the violation by Russia of the UN Convention on combating financing of terrorism and the Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination international court of justice in the Hague.

In addition, the President recalled that during his telephone conversation with the newly elected President of the United States Donald trump discussed the issue of Crimea, and raised the subject that the American leader.
