The organizers of the Dakar decided to cancel the ninth stage of the rally-RAID because of the landslide in Argentina, AFP reports citing press-service of the race.
The landslide was caused by rains and winds, passed the day before.
It is worth noting that earlier because of bad weather had reduced the fifth and the seventh stage and the sixth was canceled altogether.
We will remind, “Dakar-2017” takes place from 2 January on the territory of Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina. Racers finish on 14 January in Buenos Aires.
