Belarus has banned chickens and eggs from Ukraine

Of Belarus from January 5, temporarily restricts the import of poultry from Chernivtsi region of Ukraine in connection with the identification of cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza. This was announced by the Director of the Department of veterinary and food supervision Ministry of agriculture of Belarus, reports “APK-inform”.

Thus, temporary restrictions are imposed on the importation to Belarus of live poultry, hatching eggs, wild, zoo and circus animals, poultry meat, food processing chicken eggs, fluff and feather, feed and feed additives from birds, feed of vegetable origin, hunting trophies (bird game), as well as used equipment for keeping and butchering poultry.

It is noted that all previously issued permits for the importation to Belarus of the above products from this region of Ukraine are cancelled.

Recall that in the Chernivtsi region registered a case of avian flu – the virus died 21 Swan on the lake in the village Chortoryia Kitsmansky area.
