On December 30 in Las Vegas at the last UFC show in 2016 the legendary Ronda rousey suffered his second loss in MMA – champion Bantamweight Amanda Nunes. The fight lasted only 48 seconds: after a series of brutal strikes Nunez Rosie “led” and the referee decided to stop the one-sided beating. Earlier in November 2015, Rosie got knocked out Holly Holm.
Despite the defeat, Rosie received the largest fees in the history of the UFC. As Conor McGregor in the show UFC202, Rhonda received $3 million! Thus, Rosie earned $62 500 for every second lost match, the boxing-mma.com. It was a guaranteed fee. Interestingly, her rival and world champion Amanda Nunes earned $250 000 for his victory, and only $100,000 were guaranteed. Another $100,000 Amanda got the win, and another $50 000 for the “best performance of the evening”.
Fees other fighters of the evening of UFC in Las Vegas on 30 December ranged from $12 000 to $400 000.
