The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko commented on new year’s eve terrorist attack in a nightclub in Istanbul. This is stated in his message in Twitter.
The President condemned the actions of terrorist and stated that terrorism must be stopped.
“I strongly condemn the brutal terrorist attack in the Istanbul nightclub. My thoughts are with the families of the victims. Terrorism must be stopped”, – wrote Poroshenko.
We will remind, the attack on the Istanbul nightlife club Reina happened at new year’s eve. People in costumes of Santa Claus, as reported by the media, opened fire from a Kalashnikov. In the result of terrorist attacks killed 39 people, 69 were injured.
Later it became known that the terrorist who on new year’s night made a fire in night club of Istanbul has failed to escape and he was eliminated.
As it became known from the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in Istanbul conducted the identification of the bodies, among them citizens of Ukraine was not.
Also eyewitnesses of the incident, saidwhat happened during the attack on people at the club. Some saw the shooter still on the street as “the boy” broke into the institution.
