U.S. sanctions against the “Nord stream – 2”: Schroeder estimated losses

It is noted that “the rest of the pipeline, which needs to be built in Denmark, is outside of the area where the not recommended bottom trawling, of a plant anchors and bottom work because of the risk created by the burial of chemical warfare agents”.

The project “Northern stream – 2” involves the construction of two pipelines with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters per year off the coast of Russia through the Baltic sea to Germany. To date, the “Nord stream – 2” is constructed of 93%. Work on the construction of “Nord stream – 2” is now suspended because of U.S. sanctions.
