The Kiev region Prosecutor’s office defended its position on the detention of French citizen, who is internationally wanted for committing a series of fraudulent actions totaling nearly 200 million euros. This reports the press service of the Prosecutor General.
As noted, on Tuesday, 26 September 2017, the court granted the appeal of the Prosecutor of Kyiv region and was taken into custody for a period of 60 days the citizen of the French Republic, which is internationally wanted for the purpose of arrest and extradition to France to serve his sentence in form of imprisonment for a term exceeding 5 years for committing a series of fraudulent actions totaling nearly 200 million euros.
