Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II congratulated the people of Ukraine on Independence Day. This was reported in Twitter of the British Embassy in Ukraine, the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
On the occasion of Independence Day Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II sent a message to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

“I am pleased to send You greetings in celebration of Independence Day with best wishes to the people of Ukraine and happiness for the next year,” wrote the Queen.
Earlier it was reported that the Administration of President of Ukraine received telegrams of congratulations from many of the leaders on the occasion of independence Day of Ukraine.
