MP from the group “Will of the people” Sergey Melnichuk was charged with creating a criminal gang, but he does not agree, reports news Agency “RBC-Ukraine”, who turned out to be a copy of the receipts receipt of the indictment.
As stated in the receipt, we are talking about criminal proceedings from July 10, 2015, in which he is accused of creating an organized criminal group.
The MP expressed his disagreement with the status of the suspect and wrote on the receipt the following: “With the status of the suspect does not agree, because the suspicion has not been awarded the appropriate person”.
Earlier Melnychuk explained that appears in 24 episodes, which are United in one criminal proceedings opened by Prosecutor General’s office.
As it became known to RBC-Ukraine, the General Prosecutor’s office drew up a new indictment in the prosecution of people’s Deputy of Ukraine Melnychuk and his accomplices in crimes related to the organization of a gang and participation in it with the aim of attacking enterprises, institutions, organizations and individuals, assaults, illegal misappropriation of the vehicle, unlawful confinement, assaults on law enforcement officers, desertion and unauthorized abandonment of a military unit servicemen, etc. (article 257, part 4 of article 187, part 4 of article 345, part 3 of article 146, part 3 of article 289, part 3 of article 146, part 4, article 345, part 3 of article 407 of the criminal code of Ukraine).
It is noted that a new indictment will be submitted to the court on 9 February.
Recall, the Verkhovna Rada 3 June 2015, has supported the submission of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine gave the consent to bringing to criminal liability Melnychuk. However, the Parliament did not support the proposal of the public Prosecutor for the detention of Melnichuk and his arrest. 9 June of the same year it was reported about suspicion, but he wrote a protest that does not agree with the form of Declaration of suspicion.
