Ukraine is among the top 10 countries of tourist arrivals in Turkey. About it reports a press-service of the office for culture and information Embassy of Turkey in Ukraine – RBC.
As noted, the flow of Ukrainian tourists to Turkey is steadily increasing. In particular, in January-April 2017 Ukraine entered the top 10 countries of tourist arrivals in Turkey, finishing in 9th place.
“The Ukrainian tourist flow to Turkey is steadily increasing. In the period January-April 2017, the country was visited 158 944 Ukrainians, which is 11.39% more in comparison with a 4-month period of 2016”, – stated in the message.
The greatest demand among Ukrainian tourists are Antalya, Istanbul and the resorts of Fethiye, Dalaman, Bodrum and Marmaris.
So, for the period Antalya was visited 136 399 of Ukrainians (53% more than in 2016, Istanbul) visited 95 514 Ukrainian tourists (3.1% less than in 2016), and visited Turkish resorts 1 165 Ukrainians, an increase of 66.43%.
