Ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine, leader “popular front” Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Tuesday in Washington, met with U.S. President (2009-2017) Barack Obama.
“Today I met with President Obama. Grateful for his strong support, now and in the past – for Ukraine, for our freedom and security,” Yatsenyuk wrote in the microblog in Twitter.
According to the press service of the “popular front” during his visit to Washington, which began yesterday, Yatsenyuk held a meeting with adviser to the U.S. President for Europe and Russia Fiona hill, adviser on national security Affairs to the Vice President of the United States, Andrea Thompson, assistant Secretary of state for Europe and Eurasia John Heffernan, Deputy assistant Secretary of state Bridget brink, and also spoke at the Heritage Foundation.
On Tuesday held the meeting of Yatsenyuk with former Vice-President of the USA Joseph Biden, the leadership of the Ministry of defense and senators.
