“I’m not going to hide the fact that we have a lot of questions, given the extremely ambiguous and sometimes contradictory ideas expressed in Washington across the spectrum of bilateral and multilateral relations. And this, not to mention the recent alarming action wrongful attack against Syria,” Lavrov said.
Tillerson’s statements have been more calibrated. The Secretary of state said that his goal is “to understand the differences and why these differences exist and what are the prospects of overcoming them”. “I look forward to a very open, Frank and honest exchange of views, so we can better define U.S.-Russian relations from that moment” he said Lavrov.
As reported, on Wednesday afternoon in Moscow, held talks with U.S. Secretary Rex Tillerson and foreign Minister Lavrov.
