Senator John McCain demanded to impose sanctions against Russian Federation because of the attempts to influence the presidential elections in the United States. On it informs Agency Associated Press.
During his speech in Lithuania McCain said that along with another Republican Senator Lindsay Graham will continue to require the extension of sanctions against Russia over attempts to interfere in the American elections. According to McCain, Russia remains “a threat to the very foundations of democracy.”
While McCain expressed doubts that RF interference could significantly influence the outcome of elections in the United States.
