Ukraine has reduced the production of most types of flour products
Production rising in Ukraine, bread and bakery products in January-June amounted to 373 thousand tons, which is 14.2% less than in the same period of 2019. In particular, the production of wheat bread decreased by 15.6% to 150 thousand tons. This is evidenced by the State statistics service.
In June this year it produced 59 thousand tons of bread and bakery products, which is 16.4% less than in June last year. Of them wheat bread – 23 thousand tons, a decrease of 21.4%. The production volume of wheat flour for the period amounted to 713 thousand tons, which is 11.5% less than in January-June last year. Thus in June of current year the volume of production of these products amounted to 104 thousand tons, which is almost 13% less than in June 2019.

For the six months Ukraine has reduced the production of most types of baked goods: cookies by 4.5 percent to 73 thousand tons of macaroni products by 1.2 per cent to 34 thousand tonnes, cakes and confectionery of 13.3% to around 40 thousand tons.
