The government approved a corresponding resolution
After the Cabinet has allocated additional social assistance to Ukrainians
the government went ahead and approved the decree “Questions of repayment of debt for provided benefits and housing subsidies to the population”, which was formed as of 1 January 2020, about 29 July, reports RBC-Ukraine.
In the explanatory note to the draft States that by 2020 of incentives and subsidies to population to pay for communal were provided by the providers of services by reducing fees for services with subsequent recovery of appropriate costs at the expense of subventions from the state budget to local budgets.
In 2020, benefits and housing subsidies are allocated to Ukrainians in cash and funded from the state budget, the main Manager of which is the Ministry of social policy.
However, the state budget for 2020 has no separate budget program for repayment was in the Treasury accounts payable for the granted housing subsidies and privileges for housing and communal services, which remained outstanding as of January 1, 2020.
“The draft act provides for the establishment of a mechanism for repayment to the performers of housing and communal services of a debt of local budgets for benefits and housing subsidies at the expense of the budget program “repayment of benefits and housing subsidies to the citizens”, – the document says.
