At least two people were arrested Sunday in Seattle and more than a dozen police officers were injured — one was hospitalised after a March through the city centre degenerated into vandalism and looting.

Police reported that the demonstrators broke some Windows of the police station and then thrown into the lobby of a device that caused a small fire. Later the fire was extinguished and no one was hurt, police said.

The demonstration began between two and three o’clock in the afternoon at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and pine street. Crowds of people blocked the intersection.

The police said demonstrators threw stones at police, bottles and other items. More than ten police officers were injured, including one of them was hospitalized with neck injuries.
