Even before the world health organization recognized the drug useless against COVID-19
The Ministry of health was excluded from the Protocol for the treatment of seriously ill COVID-19 the drug hydroxychloroquine, which previously was transferred to Ukraine by India. This was announced at a briefing first Deputy head of the Ministry of health Irina Sadovij.
According to her, this antimalarial drug will still be used in some cases in the treatment of coronavirus patients.
“The standard of medical care at COVID-19 will be included dexamethasone, excluded lopinavir/ritonavir expanded the ability to use ramdevpir. And the fact that everyone was interested in – hydroxychloroquine excluded from the Protocol of care for patients with severe COVID-19 and for children. However, we reserve its use for patients of moderate severity and risk groups. The necessary order of the Ministry of health will soon be signed,” – said Sadovij.
Earlier, the world health organization called useless in the treatment of COVID-19 drug gidroksihlorohina. It is worth noting that the President of the United States Donald trump is one of the most active agitators of treatment for coronavirus disease this antimalarial drug.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has received from India a different drug to combat COVID-19. According to the Minister of health, Maxim Stepanov, the drug is already incorporated into the national guidelines for the treatment of coronavirus patients. The party is five-thousand infected.
