Zelensky has appointed a new head of the foreign intelligence Service

Until today, the foreign intelligence Service headed by Valery Yevdokimov

President Vladimir Zelensky has been appointed as the new head of the foreign intelligence Service of Ukraine Valery Kondratyuk, who in 2016-2019 was the Deputy head of the presidential Administration.

So, by the decree No. 211 of June 5, the President dismissed Valery Yevdokimov from the post of head of the foreign intelligence Service. Following the decree No. 212 the President appointed on this post of Valery Kondratuk.

Valery Kondratyuk holds the rank of Lieutenant General.

In 1999 – 2002 he worked at the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States.

From March 2014 to July 2015, he held the position of head of the counterintelligence Department of the security Service of Ukraine.

Until October 2016, worked as the head of the Main intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine.

16 Oct 2016 was appointed to the position of Deputy head of the presidential Administration. He was in charge of intelligence. In April 2019, resigned.

Recall that in July last year, Zelensky was appointed Deputy head of the foreign intelligence Catherine Slyadneva. She became the first woman to have received such a high position in all razvedochnyh Ukraine.
