We have over 2 million vaccines ready to go in case if they pass the security check,” said trump. According to him, up to eight companies in the United States engaged in the development of vaccines and drugs from the new coronavirus.
The President also announced a “very positive surprises” in relation to the development of drugs against infection. “In relation to drug development we’re great,” — said trump.
It was previously reported that the us government selected five companies that are likely to produce a vaccine against the new coronavirus. Among them Moderna and the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, vaccines which are currently on the so-called second stage of testing, which means their effectiveness is tested in limited groups of people. In early July, is expected to transition to more large-scale tests.
