The market prices of electricity fell to a historic low of 64 kopecks per kWh, which is significantly below the cost of Ukrainian power generation
The national Commission carrying out regulation in the sphere of energy and communal services (NTRAK), needs to begin urgently to solve the problem of overcoming the crisis in the energy sector, since opportunities for solving problems belong to the competence of the regulator.
This was during a conference call said the acting Minister of energy Olga Bukovec, noting that NTRAK ignored the current meeting and does not resolve the problems of the industry.
“I want to appeal to the regulator. An urgent need to monitor, to influence the situation in the market and to take all measures that were established Crisis management headquarters under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister,” said Buslovich.
However, she added that NTRAK can stabilize the situation by making changes to the rules of electricity market and other documents under the responsibility of the regulator.
