The head office of the President Andrey Ermak and the foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba will depart June 2 in Berlin for negotiations on the Donbass. This was reported by a source in diplomatic circles.
The representatives of Ukraine will hold consultations on settling the situation in the Donbass in the framework of the Normandy format and the Trilateral contact group. Ermak will have a word with the Advisor to the Federal Chancellor on international relations, Jan Hecker, and Kuleba, Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany Haiko Maas.
At these meetings, the parties will try to achieve progress in the negotiations on the Donbass and to unblock the work of the Trilateral contact group. For example, will discuss the opening of new crossing points on the demarcation line, try to agree on a new truce at the front and raise the issue of a new exchange of prisoners.
As reported “Today”, may 13, Deputy head of the presidential administration Dmitry Kozak went to Berlin. After that, the Kremlin said that the agreement was reached on the settlement in Donbass.
At the same time Kuleba responded to the Kozak negotiations on the Donbass. He noted that Ukraine knew about this trip of officials of the Kremlin – invited him there because of the lack of progress in the Donbass.
