After the scandal around the popular TV presenter and singer Regina Todorenko, the artist began to actively help the victims of domestic violence. Regina has managed to make a film “what did I do to help?”, which raised the problems of women victims of violence. Now the singer has transferred 2 million rubles non-profit organization “Violence.no.” This was the largest donation in the history of the center.
The singer announced on his page in Instagram. According to star, after the release of her film the number of calls to the centers of protection of victims of domestic violence increased in 5-7 times. To everything, together with the center of Regina is developing a special app, which will be a button to call for help.
“After my film the number of calls to the centers of protection of victims of domestic violence increased in 5-7 times. Funds not cope with the influx of complaints – not enough psychologists, lawyers and other personnel to help the victims. This once again proves the huge scale of the problem of domestic violence. I have already transferred funds to the Fund “to Violence.no” cooperated and with whom we develop a special application which will have the button to call for help,” wrote Regina todorenko.
