Poroshenko said a final “farewell” of the Russian Empire

On 11 June Ukraine will receive basisby regime with the EU, which will give a start of irreversible changes in our country. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, launching a symbolic “timer bezveze”, the press service of the head of state.

“And this will be the final “farewell” of the Russian Empire and the words “back in the USSR”, we’ll hear just listening to the Beatles, and never going back to the Soviet Union, because we are a proud and free democratic nation, back to the family of European Nations. And I am proud that we did it,” he said.

The President also expressed confidence that Ukraine will one day join NATO and the European Union.

“And nothing, no one will stop us”, – said Poroshenko.

Recall, may 17, in Strasbourg, had signed a definitive agreement to bezveze of Ukraine with the EU. From 11 June, the Ukrainians will be able to travel without visas to the EU countries.

As reported, the visa-free regime will be launched in four stages during the night.
