While the number of people infected with coronavirus in Belarus every day continues to grow almost a thousand, President Alexander Lukashenko hopes for the help of higher forces.

“I think the Lord will help overcome across the country this adversity and attack,” – said the Belarusian President.

Despite the fact that the number of infected people in Belarus has exceeded 21 thousand people (7 thousand more than in Ukraine), Lukashenko believes steps of Minsk is correct. In particular, he has no regrets about not imposed a state of emergency in the country.

“If we continue on this path, we will in a month forget about the coronavirus,” said he.

The President believes that soon everyone will forget how many people have it, and will remember only how many died.

“The main thing focus — the salvation of people. And the lowest mortality in this volume reveal in Belarus. We must fight for each man, and we know how to do it,” added Alexander Lukashenko.

It should be noted that according to official data, in Belarus died and 121 people with the coronavirus, but the authorities have repeatedly accused in an artificial underestimation of the true scale of deaths from coronavirus, and even concealing the number of dead. Despite this, Lukashenko is determined to hold a victory Parade on may 9 and even invited to the feast of his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
