The President of France Emmanuel macron has said that Paris intends to allocate 500 million euros for the development of antiviral vaccines.

“France will commit itself to allocate an additional 500 million euros,” – said the French leader.

The funds will be raised within two weeks. The organizers of the online conference are the UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, Norway, Saudi Arabia (as chair of the G20), France and Japan. In addition, partners of the event are eight agencies, including the world health organization, the bill and Melinda gates Foundation, the Global Alliance for vaccines and immunization.
