In Ukraine allowed to conduct operations during the quarantine

The government has made changes to the regulation on quarantine

In Ukraine again allowed to conduct elective surgery and hospitalization. This was stated at a briefing the Minister of health, Maxim Stepanov.

According to him, the government held a special meeting on just one issue – amendments to 211-th order of the Cabinet of Ministers is the resolution which was introduced quarantine measures in the territory of Ukraine.

“As you know, at the time of quarantine in our country was banned for elective surgery, including various hospitalization. But the quarantine period is about 50 days, and we already have the need for planned operations, including health indicators,” – said Stepanov.

The Minister noted that it was the government decree, which amends the 211-th order. According to him, maybe tomorrow will be published the new regulation and will be allowed elective surgery and hospitalization – those operations that are urgently needed to conduct to reduce the risks for the patient.

“To avoid contamination of our physicians, hospitalization for these operations will be conducted only after testing by PCR”, – said the head of Ministry of health.

As reported “Today”, recently the Ministry of health said, when they opened the clinic. Now Ukrainians are not allowed on receptions to doctors because of the quarantine.
