The Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine together with the National police carried out searches in the Ministry of social policy of Ukraine in the investigation of cases of support by the officials of the Ministry in the implementation of the illegal import of goods into the territory of Ukraine without paying to the state budget, as well as embezzlement of budget funds.
“The Prosecutor General’s office together with Nicolicea carried out searches in the Ministry of social policy of Ukraine”, – wrote press Secretary of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Larisa Sargan on the page in microblog Twitter on Thursday.

In turn, as reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine to investigate crimes committed by criminal organizations, is investigating criminal proceedings against officials of the Ministry of social policy of Ukraine on the fact of promoting them to managers of commercial structures to carry out the illegal import of goods into the territory of Ukraine without paying taxes and mandatory payments to the state budget, as well as on the fact of theft in especially large size of budgetary funds, aimed at improving school-age children and social vulnerable categories of the population on the grounds of criminal offense under part 2 St. 364 (abuse of power or official position) The criminal code of Ukraine.

According to the Prosecutor’s office, Thursday, September 28, searches were conducted with the Deputy Minister of social policy and other officials of the Ministry.
“At present pre-judicial investigation proceeds, with the aim of full and comprehensive investigation of circumstances of offences are necessary investigative actions”, – is told in the message.
