Scientists have discovered a dangerous property of aspirin

A team of us researchers has detected a dangerous property of aspirin, according to the Journal of the Royal Society Interface.

Acetylsalicylic acid, also widely known under the trademark “Aspirin” as the researchers found, though, and slows the development of malignant neoplasms of the colon, however, along with this increases the evolutionary potential of tumor cells. Because of this, the latter undergoing a mutation compared to cells of the tumor are not exposed to the drug.

Thus, because aspirin increases the proportion of cancer cells that are resistant to medicines.

The study authors came to similar conclusions in laboratory experiments in vitro. Now scientists plan to test the results in vivo.

Earlier it was reported that American scientists have proved that vitamin B17, also called laetrile, contributes to the destruction of cancer cells. It contains apricots, peaches, almonds, and apples.
