The leaders of Ukraine and Georgia has condemned Putin’s visit to occupied Abkhazia

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili during a phone conversation on Tuesday, August 8, condemned a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin and occupied Abkhazia.

“Both leaders condemned the visit of the President of Russia occupied Abkhazia today“, – the press service of the President of Ukraine on the results of the talks Poroshenko and Margvelashvili.

In addition, the President of Ukraine expressed solidarity with the Georgian people in connection with the ninth anniversary of the beginning of the Russian aggression against Georgia: “on this day, our hearts are with you”.

Poroshenko said that Ukraine supports and will support the territorial integrity of Georgia.

According to the President of Georgia, the Georgian military led by defense Minister Levan Izoria will participate in the parade on the occasion of independence day of Ukraine on August 24.
