The Americans intend to pursue the responsibility of Russia for the bad actions against the Ukrainian people. This was stated press Secretary of the US Department of state Heather Nauert, reports “UKRINFORM”.
She noted that the United States will closely monitor Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
“What we want to find areas of cooperation and to improve relations with Russia wherever possible, because they are still a nuclear superpower, does not mean that we close our eyes to the bad acts in which they are involved, such as in Ukraine,” said Neuert.

According to her, for US it is very important to regain the unity and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“The issue of Ukraine is very important and we will continue to demand accountability in Russia. We have just appointed Kurt Volker, so he figured out the part of the problem”, – said the press-Secretary of the state Department.
As reported, the U.S. authorities do not exclude that in the future can be taken the decision to supply Ukraine with defensive weapons.
