President Petro Poroshenko has congratulated servicemen, employees and veterans of the special operations Forces of the Armed forces of Ukraine. About it reports a press-service of the head of state.
“Dear soldiers! Dear veterans! I congratulate you on the Day of the special operations Forces of the Armed forces of Ukraine. Slowly but surely, the Ukraine forms a new, modern component of our army – special operations Forces, and in practice, in combat, exploring new experiences,” he said.
According to the President, in the short time that has elapsed since the creation of this heroic troops, soldiers-commandos, acting at particular risk, has shown its high efficiency, courage and professionalism, indestructible and invincible fighting spirit, becoming an example of extraordinary military prowess and honor.

“It is thanks to these qualities, staff of divisions of special operations Forces resist the Russian invaders and daily confirms that he is one of the true elite of the Armed forces of Ukraine”, – said Poroshenko.
The President also honored the memory of soldiers who gave their lives for the peaceful future of Ukraine.
“Thank you to all military personnel, employees and veterans of the special operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for devotion to duty and Fatherland. I am convinced that you will continue securely to safeguard the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Thank the special operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Glory To Ukraine!” the President concluded.
Recall that today, July 29, in the Ukraine celebrates the Day of the special operations Forces of the APU. It was established to promote the further development of national military traditions, the military-Patriotic education of youth and its readiness to defend the homeland, in accordance with the decree of the President dated July 26, 2016.
