The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine liquidated the aircraft building concern “Antonov”. This is stated in the decree of July 19, 2017 No. 546.
This decision the government took in connection with the fact that three of the enterprise “Antonov” has given up this group to another – “Ukroboronprom”.

We are talking about the state enterprise “Antonov”, Kharkiv state aviation production enterprise and state enterprise “Plant 410 GA”.
Recall, the Cabinet also plans to liquidate the shipyard in Chernomorsk, the Museum of marine fleet of Ukraine and “Odessa railroad”.
Aviation experimental design Bureau, headed by Oleg Antonov, was established in 1946 at the Novosibirsk aviation plant, six years later transferred to Kiev, where it was reorganized for the construction of An aircraft, both passenger and transport.
