In the European Parliament commented on the statement by Juncker on the anti-corruption court

The European Parliament surprised the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker supported the creation of anti-corruption chamber instead of a separate anti-corruption court in Ukraine. About this Twitter wrote the co-Chairman of the Green faction in the European Parliament Rebecca harms.

“There is no need in the anti-corruption court in Ukraine? Surprised to read that European Commission President Juncker agreed. I don’t know good alternatives,” wrote harms.

As you know, at the opening plenary session of the 19th summit of the EU – Ukraine European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said that the European Union is concerned with fighting corruption in Ukraine, however, does not insist on the establishment of anticorruption court. “We do not insist on the establishment of anticorruption court – enough chamber, as the main – not in tools, not in the environment, the main in the belief that in Ukrainian society there is a desire of struggle against corruption”, – said Juncker.
