Today, 9 July, MEPs called for a war zone in the Donbas. This was announced by first Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko.
“A delegation of MEPs, composed of the co-chairs of the Parliamentary Committee of Association between Ukraine and the EU, Dariusz Rosati and his colleagues Michael Galera visited Shirokino (which is impossible to recover and rebuild), Mariupol, where he will meet with settlers, our heroes-naval border guards, will also visit Volnovakha, KPVV and other important facilities”, – she wrote on his page in Facebook.
According to Gerashchenko, the European colleagues was escorted deputies Maria Ionova, Irina Friz and Nikolay knyazhitsky.
“We do everything possible to as many European partners saw the aftermath of the Russian hybrid war against Ukraine and realized the falsity and danger of the Putin regime”, – said Gerashchenko.
