Britain will provide Ukraine in 2017-2018 financial assistance in the amount of 40 million pounds. This was stated by the British Ambassador to Ukraine Judith Gough.
“We work on annual funding cycles, and fiscal year is between the years. In the final in March 2017-18 financial year our obligation is about 40 million pounds,” said Gough.
According to her, this amount includes technical assistance in the implementation of reforms, humanitarian assistance and military training, which aims to support the Armed forces of Ukraine.
We will remind, Judith Gough promised to persuade the British government to introduce a “relaxed” visa regime with Ukraine.
