Qatar did not like the demands of the Arab countries

Qatar rejects a number of requirements imposed by several Arab countries, as they, according to the head of the foreign Ministry, aimed not at combating terrorism and the limitation of sovereignty of Qatar. This at a press conference in Rome, said the foreign Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdurrahman al Thani, according to RBC with reference to Reuters.

“The list of requirements should be rejected and not accepted. We are ready to engage in dialogue, but under the right conditions,” – said the foreign Minister of Qatar.

He noted that Qatar is not going to block the broadcasting of the TV channel “al Jazeera” and to close the Turkish military base on its territory.

Recall, according to Secretary of state Rex Tillerson, requirements of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the UAE against Qatar can be the basis for continued dialogue to resolve the conflict.

Previously, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Bahrain through the representatives of Kuwait, Qatar gave the list of 13 requirements that within ten days is for Doha, the condition for normalization of relations.

In particular, the Persian Gulf countries require Qatar to abandon the presence of Turkish troops on its territory and to stop military cooperation with Turkey within the country.
