Tourists from London were evacuated due to unexploded ordnance

Lodinska police evacuated the popular tourist attractions the London eye and from Westminster pier over unexploded shell during one of the world wars.

Police got the call around 10:30 local time (11:30 GMT), after on the banks of the Thames were found ammunition, presumably during the First or Second world war.

Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area for 40 minutes. Now the cordon is removed.

The police said that they would return to the place during low tide to get a shell.

London eye – one of the largest Ferris wheel in Europe. In the year it is visited by almost four million people.
