Sweden and Lithuania are opposed to the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia and want an end to its aggression in the Donbass, said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Sweden Margot wallström.
“We came to offer our support and assistance. We stand for international law, for Ukraine to choose freely their own future, we also insist that Crimea is part of Ukraine. We oppose the illegal annexation of Crimea, we also want an end to Russian aggression in Eastern Ukraine,” the Minister said during the opening of the concert “Music of free people” on Wednesday in Kiev, which was also attended by the Ministers of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and Lithuania, Linas Linkevicius.
According to wahlström, Sweden and Lithuania will continue to support Ukraine in the issue of reforms and the establishment of peace in Donbas.
