Russia blocks creation of the UN Tribunal on the crash of the Boeing MH17 in Donbas – Poroshenko

The blocking by Russia of decisions of the UN Security Council to establish an International Tribunal to investigate the terrorist attack on the Malaysian Boeing MH17 actually confirm her involvement in the crime. This was stated by President Petro Poroshenko, reports the press service of the Ukrainian President.

“Russia is blocking the establishment of the Tribunal, a de facto surrender”, – said Petro Poroshenko during a joint briefing with President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite in Kyiv.

The Ukrainian head of state expressed the conviction that the annexation of Crimea and illegal aggression in the East, which was made a permanent member of the security Council of the United Nations (Russia. – Ed.) did postoenie security mechanisms in the world ineffective. The President added that any initiative, in particular on the establishment of an International Tribunal to investigate the terrorist attack on the Malaysian Boeing MH17, may be blocked in the UN security Council.

Petro Poroshenko also noted that in the last days is a very important information about the direct evidence of the participation of the Russian Federation in this terrorist attack.

Previously Petro Poroshenko has said that sanctions are the only tool to put Russia at the negotiating table and to implement the Minsk agreements.
